Where You Land After Login
Sign in at healthtal.com/login. You land directly on the Search workspace — the full 1,762,851-contact healthcare professional database, with no filters applied. Three regions: filters on the left, toolbar across the top, results in the middle.
- Log in at /login/ with your email and password.
- You land on /search/ — the main workspace.
- Top nav: Search · Requests · Account · Log out.
- Left rail: filter categories (Keywords, Location, Job Title, Company, Specialty, Education, Years of Experience, Contact Data).
- Toolbar: Select Page, Select All, total result count, sort, My Lists, Export.
- Each result card has Reveal Email / Reveal Phone / View Profile actions.
Filtering by State
Click “All States” in the Location filter to open the state picker. Type-to-search supports both US states and Canadian provinces, and multiple states can be selected at once.
- Click “All States” in the Location filter.
- Type to filter the list (e.g. “California”) or scroll.
- Click a state to add it as a filter; click again to remove.
- The dropdown closes automatically once a state is selected.
Combining Multiple Filters
Filters stack: state, specialty, job title, company, education, years of experience. Each filter narrows what is available in the others. The result count updates live in the toolbar — here, Location → California plus Specialty → Physicians takes the dataset from 1,762,851 down to 14,607 contacts.
- Apply Location → California, then click a Specialty chip (e.g. “Physicians”).
- Across-filter logic is AND; within a filter (multiple states, multiple specialties) it is OR.
- Each result card shows name, title, specialty tag, employer, location.
- Click “Clear” in the filter panel header to reset all filters at once.
Revealing Email and Phone
Click Reveal Email or Reveal Phone on a card to expose the contact info. Pro and Essentials subscribers get up to 10,000 reveals per day. Once revealed, values stay visible permanently on your account — no need to re-reveal on a later visit.
- Click Reveal Email — the button is replaced with the actual email address (with a Copy shortcut).
- Click Reveal Phone — same pattern for phone numbers.
- A small warning icon flags contacts where delivery is no longer guaranteed (verified when collected, not re-verified live).
- Revealed contact persists across sessions — bookmarking or saving isn’t required.
Bulk Selection and Export
Select Page checks all 25 visible profiles; Select All extends across the entire result set. Click Export to open the Export Contacts modal — it shows your plan’s per-export cap right up front (Essentials: 250, Pro: 2,500) and lets you filter to only contacts with a phone or email before downloading the CSV.
- Click “Select Page” to check 25 visible profiles, or “Select All” for the full result set.
- Toolbar swaps from “My Lists / Export” to “Add to List (N) / Export (N)”.
- Click “Export (N)” — the modal shows your plan’s cap (Pro: up to 2,500 per export) and optional phone/email filters.
- Click “Export N Contacts as CSV” — the file downloads immediately.
Adding Contacts to a List
Lists group contacts for organized outreach, independent of your current search filters. The Add-to-List modal lets you pick an existing list or create a new one inline. Essentials plans hold up to 1,000 contacts per list; Pro is unlimited.
- With contacts selected, click “Add to List (N)”.
- Modal opens with “Choose a list” dropdown — pick an existing list or “+ Create new list…”.
- When creating new, the dropdown reveals the “List name” input.
- Click “Add to List” inside the modal to save the selection to that list.
My Lists Popover
Click “My Lists” in the toolbar (without a selection) to see all your saved lists. Each list shows its name and current contact count. The download icon on each row exports that list directly to CSV without opening it.
- Click “My Lists” in the search toolbar.
- Popover lists every saved list with its contact count.
- Download icon → instant CSV export of that whole list.
- The “x” beside each list deletes it.
Opening a List
Click a list name in the popover to open it. You get a searchable roster of every contact in that list — name, title, employer, location — with a per-row remove control and a search box to find one contact fast in a large list.
- Click a list name in the My Lists popover.
- Panel shows every contact currently in that list, newest-added first.
- Use “Search contacts in this list…” to filter within the list.
- Click the trash icon on a row to remove that contact from the list.
Full Profile Page
Clicking View Profile opens the dedicated profile page. Logged-in subscribers see the full record: identity, revealed contact info with copy buttons, an overview grid (level, function, tenure, connections), and a “Position in HealthTal Database” panel with specialty counts, employer counts, and typical compensation for that specialty and state.
- Click “View Profile” on any result card.
- Identity panel: name, title, specialty tag, location, current employer.
- Contact row: revealed email + phone with Copy buttons, plus a LinkedIn link when available.
- Overview grid: Level, Function, Tenure, and Connections.
- “Position in HealthTal Database” panel: specialty/state counts and typical compensation range for context.
Account Dashboard
The Account page summarizes everything: subscription status (Pro Active badge), list counts, contacts in lists, and saved searches. Quick Actions link straight back to Search, My Lists, Saved Searches, and the Directory.
- Subscription panel: current plan badge and stats — lists, contacts in lists, saved searches.
- Quick Actions: shortcuts to Search Contacts, My Lists, Saved Searches, Browse Directory.
- Account Details: email, name, member-since date, and a change-password form.
- Billing changes (upgrade, cancel, payment method) are managed from the Pricing page’s Stripe checkout/portal links.
