How HealthTal sources and maintains 1.75M+ healthcare professional contacts.
Data Sources
HealthTal compiles healthcare professional data from publicly available sources:
- Public LinkedIn profile data — Names, titles, employers, and locations
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) Registry — Public licensing data (license states and taxonomy) from the CMS NPPES database, matched to professionals who hold an NPI
Verification Process
How records are checked:
- NPI matching — Professionals who hold a federal NPI are matched to public licensing data in the NPI registry (license states and taxonomy), with a confidence score on each match.
- Email validation — Emails are run through a validation check, and more than 610,000 have passed so far. Validated addresses are marked in search results and exports.
- Keeping current — Contact details change as people move jobs, so confirm key details before outreach.
